Nick Peck – MA (ord), Mont. Dip. – Proprietor and Montessori teacher

I qualified as a Montessori teacher in 1997 and have previously managed two Montessori nurseries and a Montessori elementary school. Rachel Lelliott-Peck – Mont. Dip., BTEC Nursery Nurse

I have been working in childcare since I left college, the majority of which has been spent working in Montessori Nurseries since my daughter Holly started at a Montessori nursery herself. I have worked as both a classroom leader and manager and I am passionate about the importance of Early Years Education as a foundation for developing a lifelong love of learning.

Holly Lelliott – Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies

I went to a Montessori Nursery and School up to the age of 11. I completed a Children and Young People’s Workforce Level 3 Apprenticeship in July 2014 having been named as Northbrook College’s Overall Intermediate Apprentice of the Year & am now studying for a Degree in Early Childhood.

Belinda Ungan – Mont. Dip.

I’ve been interested in Montessori education since I first visited a school in Sweden over 20 years ago. Once qualified myself, I worked as a Montessori teacher in a school in Surrey. I was delighted that both my children were able to attend Bright Little Buttons and experience the wonderful environment offered. Now they are at school full time, I’m delighted to have become a part of the team at Bright Little Buttons.

Debbie Flint

With an educational background in English Literature, Creative Studies and Modern and Contemporary Art, I enjoyed many years working as a learning assistant, teacher and academic developer in art, design and media in further and higher education.  I gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 2006.  My interest in the Montessori approach to learning grew when my daughter started at, and loved, Bright Little Buttons in 2014.

Judith Yaffe – NVQ L2

I have worked in childcare and also cared for young adults with special needs and now have 14 years’ experience in these areas. I have qualified in Childcare NVQ Level 2 and also in Social Care NVQ Level 2. I find nursery work with babies and young children to be the most enjoyable experience of my career and am delighted to be a member of Bright Little Buttons staff.

Nicole Walls – NVQ L2

I have always had an interest in working with children & a while ago I spent 1 year achieving my childcare qualification at college to help me get closer to that. Now that I have joined Bright Little Buttons I look forward to working in a Montessori nursery.

Carole Lelliott

I am Rachel’s Mum and Holly’s Nan. I have been volunteering at Bright Little Buttons since the nursery opened in 2012. While I initially volunteered to help Rachel and Nick with their new venture, I have remained a regular volunteer as I have found that I very much enjoy the company of the Bright Little Buttons.

Anne Edwards

I have been interested in Montessori education since my own two boys benefited back in the 1970s. Later I worked for some years in the 1980s in a Montessori nursery. Now I am enjoying returning on a voluntary basis.
